The clinic is meant for the diagnostics and treatment of patients with complex trauma who cannot be treated elsewhere (in an outpatient clinic or at other clinical institutes) or for whom ambulatory diagnostics will not suffice.

This may involve emergency admissions, stabilisation (in preparation for outpatient trauma treatment, for instance) or specialist clinical trauma treatment. The clinic constitutes an ideal setting for top referent research and innovative treatment forms.

Clinical family therapy
One of the few clinics in the Netherlands to be able to do so, Foundation Centrum ’45 has over the past years kept a unit up and running that can offer clinical family therapy thanks to a treatment staff that has developed unique expertise in this specialist field at an international level (MFT = multifamily therapy, imbued with the vision and knowledge of the London Marlborough Institute).
